Scrapcamp 08 Details Released

Well it’s that time yet again. Whether you’ve been before or this might be the first – Scrapcamp 2008 is certainly one to mark on your calendars now! Don’t miss out – be quick!
The purpose of Scrapcamp is to bring together a group of ladies who are enthusiastic scrappers wanting a fun weekend away. We offer a weekend package that includes two classes and materials as well as challenge packs, giveaways, demos and lots of FUN FUN FUN!!!

We are pleased to announce that this time we are teaming up with Kelly Rotherham (our very own Aussie scrapper now living in Palmerston North). Kelly has been scrapbooking for 9 years and has won design awards in For Keeps and Scrapbooking Memories. She has had layouts published in Australian and New Zealand magazines and books. Kelly has taught a huge range of classes over the years in "real life" classrooms in Australia and here in NZ. Be sure to visit her blog to check out some of her gorgeous work. Kelly will be teaching both of the classes with more details to follow.

Keswick Christian Camp

ROTORUA

When is it?
Friday 23rd May (after 5pm) to Sunday 25th May 2pm.

Cost $200 includes 2 nights accommodation, food for the weekend and 2 classes with all materials provided as well as other small demonstrations/challenges and prizes/giveaways.

The Programme: (times are approximate at this stage!)
Friday – arrive after 5pm (Please have your dinner before you arrive)
We will have cabins & tables allocated prior to arrival so there will be no rush for you to get there. Please add to your registration form any requests to be with friends as this makes it easier in planning. We may not be able to accommodate changes closer to the time but we will do our best. Friday night will be a mega-crop evening with a small challenge, giveaways and a game of Bingo at 9:30pm. Supper will be served at 8:30pm. The challenge pack will be issued at 9pm but you will have until Sunday morning (10am) to complete. This is optional but there will be some wonderful prizes to be won!
Saturday
8am – 9am Breakfast
9:30am – 11:30am Class #1
12noon – 1pm Lunch
1:30 – 3:30pm Class #2
3:30pm – 6pm Crop begins – more challenges and giveaways
6 - 7pm Dinner
7pm – PARTY Night. This is a themed dress-up night and is lots of fun. Time to let your hair down and enjoy a late night crop with more challenges and giveaways. There will be spot prizes for best dressed individuals.
This year’s theme is TROPICAL. So lets hope the rain stays away and the sun shines enough for us to get into the mood. Hula-la-la.

8am – 9am Breakfast
9:30am – 12:30pm Further cropping time.
12:30 – 1:30pm LunchPack up and leave by 2pm

Thanks to Chris for coming all the way downunder and spending some time with us kiwis - we had fun hosting ya even though we had to drag you kicking and screaming away from the Maori fellas. It was fun but fast. Wish you could have stayed for several months!!!

Scrapcamp June 2007 details

Hi de Hi campers… Well it’s that time again. Seems to come around quickly!

What an amazing effort everyone made for our Green party on Saturday night.
